Full Summary[]
Goblin Slayer has a dream about his time training with his master. Whilst taunting him of his inability to save his sister, Burglar attacks Goblin Slayer with a barrage of projectiles while asking him several riddles. When Goblin Slayer manages to answer them all, Burglar puzzles him by asking him to say what he had in his pocket.
Goblin Slayer awakens to find himself in a bed. He recalls that the memory of him training with the rhea was five years ago, noting his master had gone on a journey and simply vanished. When Goblin Slayer finds the sleeping form of Priestess beside him, he discovers there were no scars on her shoulder. Recalling what happened in the catacombs, he mutters that his master didn't prepare him for risking the lives of others. When Sword Maiden appears and asks how was sharing a bed with her and the girl, Goblin Slayer surmises that she used a resurrection miracle involving sleeping with a virgin to accomplish it. Sword Maiden explains that the miracle worked when a hero sharing his bed with a pure maiden, adding that she could no longer be considered pure. She confides in Goblin Slayer that she was tortured by goblins ten years ago, and despite being an adventurer who slew the Dark Gods, has been living in fear of goblins ever since. Before leaving, Sword Maiden asks him to help her.
Once Goblin Slayer and his party regrouped, High Elf Archer informed Goblin Slayer that the coffin he was thrown onto was actually a hidden staircase. When Goblin Slayer learns Priestess hadn't eaten, Priestess gleefully reminded Goblin Slayer of their promise to have a meal together.
